80" Indian Chief 1952 & 1953 Police Models Rubber Ducky float & 1/8 NPT tapered thread .Can change to 7/16-27 straight thread if desired. "Linkert never made a 352 carb. By
this time no one would ship to Indian because of
past due bills, and ALL M352 carbs were stamped
by Indian and assembled from carb parts on
the shelf. Indian knew they were finished
and were just using up parts to satisfy
demand from police depts, etc. that did not want
Amal carbs. Carb bodies were reground and
restamped. Nearly all are slightly different and
could have been any Indian carb left in stock.
The majority appear to be MBONN bodies as many
have that small "6" to the right as does this
one. Those are MBONN bodies. Internals are also
MBONN. The bulk of these 352 carbs were to
satisfy police department orders and many, if
not all, have something that gives away the
police dept. The "C" is generally Chicago, the
NYPD is obvious, but the CA San Francisco and
CHP for example, not always so. Without an
extra mark, probably was a small dept. or
special order civilian sale, or a changeover at
the dealership"
